Hidersine Violin Case Oblong 4/4

Offering greater protection than the Hidersine V50, for only a modest price premium, this violin case still sits in the affordable area of the market, and with an attractive interior and the means to hold three bows it is definitely worthy of your consideration. This 4/4 violin case features a red plush lining, and the inside is shaped to hold a full size violin. The achievement of both light weight and adequate protection at a low cost is a result of both the use of styrofoam padding for the shell construction (it's tougher than it sounds), and also utilising an oblong shape with rounded corners, which imparts additional strength to the structure, distancing your violin from the source of knocks and helping transmit any impact damage away from your instrument.

In addition to three bow holders, there is an interior accessory pocket where you can store the necessary rosin, tuner, etc. In addition, you will appreciate the string tube mounted inside the lid, adjacent to the bow holders. The case zips fully open, with a locking centre clasp which has a covering flap, useful to protect the fingers when carrying by the handle. There is a second grab handle atop the bag, and the handles themselves are pleasantly contoured for a comfortable grip. When walking with the case, you also have the option of using the twin shoulder straps provided, which simply clip high on the sides of the case and share a single fixing point low on the case body.

Weight is modest at around 2.00kg. This ecomomical case would make a good choice for a 4/4 student violin.
