Our Returns Policy

 

At musicbags.com we want you to be delighted with your each and every purchase from us. Occasionally though, we know you may wish to return items, so outlined below is our returns policy.

For all items
Goods may be returned only if they are unopened and in their original condition. In order to receive a full refund for any qualifying item, the item should be returned as detailed below, within 30 days.

Defective items:
Defective items will be eligible for return. Please note: once opened, items may only be returned if they are defective. For more information, please see "
Returning an item" below. 


Delivery charges for defective items:
When you return an item sent in error on our part or because it is defective, we will refund the outgoing delivery charges incurred together with your costs in returning it to us. In any other case, you will be responsible for those charges.

Returning an item:
To return an item, please fill in the form on our product returns page. Alternatively contact us by email at helpdesk@musicbags.com or by telephoning the number set out below. Please be ready to quote your order number. You will be provided with a Returns Number which you must always include when you return an item.  The Returns Number is an absolute requirement for all returned items, without which a refund will not be possible! Returned items should include a written note stating the reason for return. You must package the item securely and wrap it appropriately, taking care not to affix any label to the outer wrapping and not to the goods or their immediate packaging, and send to the address below. If an item is defective,  please describe fully in writing the nature of any such defect, and return the defective item in its original box (if applicable), together with all accompanying items, including warranty cards, manuals and accessories, etc.  Once packaged, send to the address at the bottom of this page.

 

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Cancelling an item:
Under the United Kingdom's Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. We regret however that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts in respect of media items such as software, DVD or Audio once the seal has been broken.
To cancel this contract, please write to us within 7 working days of delivery. You should then return the relevant item within a reasonable time quoting your name and the order number which appears on the delivery slip. Please be sure to package the relevant item securely and send it to us at the following address:

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. This is to safeguard you against items going missing in transit.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

If you do not return the item to us within a reasonable time, then we may arrange for collection of the item from your place of residence, the cost of which to be recovered from you.

Once we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, you will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation the purchase price for that item (including any costs of outward carriage we may have charged you) less, any return costs that may be incurred which have not already been borne by you.
